TGA

The Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) is the state institution responsible for promoting and developing tourism in Türkiye. It was established on 15 July 2019 and is affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Its headquarters is in the Şişli district of Istanbul.

Felipe Massa tours Istanbul's historic sites, meets fans at Istanbul Park

Hosted by the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency, Felipe Massa visited the Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia Mosque, and the Blue Mosque. Meeting fans at TOSFED Istanbul Park, he carried out a test drive and stated he is happy the track will return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2027.

Goal announced to extend tourism to 12 months across 81 provinces

Stating that tourism revenues increased from 30 billion dollars to 65 billion dollars in the last 8 years and that Türkiye is the 4th most-visited country, Alpaslan said they aim to spread tourism over 12 months in 81 provinces under the coordination of the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency.

Felipe Massa tours Istanbul as part of TGA program

Brazilian driver Felipe Massa, who won all three Formula 1 races held at Istanbul Park, visited the Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet as part of a program organized by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA); he said, "I loved the Bosphorus the most."
