Erdoğan forecasts year-end inflation around 28 percent

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at the Turkey-US Business Council meeting at the Turkish House, said they expect to close the year with inflation around 28 percent and that 2027 would be stronger in disinflation. He said they will reach the $100 billion trade target with the US in a short time.

TCMB revokes Papel's 2022 operating license

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye's decision dated September 18 revoking Papel's license was published in the Official Gazette on September 23, and the company's services stopped. A TMSF trustee had been appointed to the company early this year, and 15 people had been arrested in the investigation.

SPK imposed 71 million lira in fines, approved issuances

The Capital Markets Board imposed administrative fines totaling 71 million 26 thousand 385 lira on 3 real and 1 legal entity. Approvals were issued for 7 billion 50 million lira for bonus issues, debt instruments, and lease certificates.
