Pakistan

Pakistan, officially the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is a country in South Asia. With a population exceeding 241.49 million, it is the fifth most populous country in the world and has a federal structure. It borders India to the east, Afghanistan to the west, Iran to the southwest, and China to the northeast, with a coastline on the Sea of Oman to the south.

First secretary general of Mecca Defense Alliance announced

Pakistan's Foreign Ministry announced that the first secretary general of the Mecca Defense Alliance, founded by Türkiye, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, is retired Lieutenant General Nauman Mahmood. The agreement considers an attack on one party as an attack on all parties.

Saudi coalition announces missile fired at Riyadh, Ankara condemns Mecca attempt

Arab Coalition Spokesperson Brigadier General Turki al-Malki reported that a ballistic missile fired by the Houthis toward Riyadh on Saturday morning was destroyed by air defenses. Türkiye's Foreign Ministry had previously condemned an attempted drone attack targeting Mecca; the Houthis denied such an attempt.

Foreign Ministry condemns drone attempt on Mecca and attack in Pakistan

Saudi Arabia announced that Houthis attempted a drone attack on Mecca, which the Houthis denied; the Foreign Ministry condemned the attempt and reiterated its support for Riyadh's sovereignty. The ministry also condemned an attack near a mosque during Friday prayers in Pakistan's Kohat city.
