Court of Cassation sets tenant precedent: six months' rent for unannounced exit
The Court of Cassation (Yargıtay) ruled that a tenant who vacated the property without notice, despite a six-month termination notice clause in the lease, must pay six months' rent as reasonable-time compensation.
