US Ambassador to Ankara Tom Barrack announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and US President Donald Trump would meet in New York during the 81st UN General Assembly. The day and time of the meeting have not yet been announced.
The meeting is expected to take place during the general debates between 22 and 28 September. Erdoğan is expected to arrive in New York on Sunday. On the table may be the Iran war, Syria, Israel's policies in the region and defence relations.
