Arif Güran, father of 8-year-old Narin Güran found dead in Diyarbakır's Bağlar district in 2024, launched a "march for justice" to Ankara demanding a reassessment of the case. The family addressed President Erdoğan, stating they seek all facts uncovered, not privileges.

Arif Güran said the march was to make his voice heard by President Erdoğan. Family lawyer Onur Akdağ claimed that some evidence in the investigation was erased and that the reports were contradictory. His grandmother Leyla Güran also called for truth and justice in a video message.
