The event opened hosted by France's Ambassador to Türkiye Isabelle Dumont, who said the 3,000-person quota filled in an hour. Under the same initiative, the DİTİB-affiliated Eyüp Sultan Mosque in Roubaix, France, also opened its doors.
An acrobatics show was presented at the opening reception. Ambassador Dumont announced that the event's web page was visited by 100,000 people and the quota of 3,000 was filled in one hour. While information was provided in Turkish and French at the Eyüp Sultan Mosque in Roubaix, visitors were offered flavors from Turkish cuisine.
