Uraloğlu: Production of second National High-Speed Train set begins

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated mass production has started on the TÜRASAŞ-developed train, targeting 14 train sets with 7 each in 2027 and 2028. The 8-car sets seat 577 passengers; the first set reached 250 kilometers per hour in tests.

The first set reached a speed of 250 kilometers per hour in dynamic running safety tests. The new sets will be produced in Türkiye's first high-speed train factory in Sakarya, where 90 percent is complete, and capacity will increase to one set per month.
