Gülistan Doku's lawyer claims former governor used code name on WhatsApp

Ali Çimen, lawyer for the family of Gülistan Doku, claimed that the governor of Tunceli at the time, Tuncay Sonel, used the name Turgay Kılıç on WhatsApp. The messages in the records he shared are dated January 18, 2020.

The lawyer stated that the messages were sent 13 days after Doku's disappearance. The records show messages from the account of former police officer Gökhan Ertok under the name 'Turgay Kılıç' saying 'Dear governor' and 'I present it'. Çimen questioned why a governor would need a code name.
