DEM Party Ağrı Deputy Sırrı Sakık met with Selahattin Demirtaş in Edirne. He demanded that the freedom of imprisoned politicians not be tied to a framework law, and that decisions of the ECtHR and the Constitutional Court be implemented.
Sakık said Demirtaş is among the leading figures who can contribute most to the peace and resolution process and that he is being held unjustly. He said the freedom of political prisoners should be implemented immediately as required by law.
