Latest in the series 30 suspects detained in Istanbul-based illegal betting raid
In an illegal betting operation across four provinces based in Niğde, 5 of 10 detained suspects were arrested and 4 were placed under judicial control. Proceedings against one suspect are continuing.
The investigation by the Niğde Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Anti-Cybercrime Department found about 1.1 billion lira had been moved to betting sites via 14 suspects' accounts. Four of the suspects had been arrested earlier. Digital materials were seized in house searches.
