Latest in the series Pana Film director released under judicial control in Kaşif Kozinoğlu probe
Doctor Turgay Tamer, detained in the investigation into Kaşif Kozinoğlu's death and released under judicial control, was found dead in his home in Büyükçekmece. The Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office said Tamer had not provided medical treatment to Kozinoğlu.
According to the chief prosecutor's office, Tamer was serving as a campus doctor in the prison while Kozinoğlu was held there, but he was not a forensic doctor. Tamer's body was sent to the Council of Forensic Medicine to determine the cause of death. The Büyükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into the death.
