According to BirGün's report, producers suffered losses on many products from sunflower to hazelnut due to purchase prices and input costs; the newspaper reported that the state debt arising from the gap between the support envisaged in the Agriculture Law and the support actually paid amounted to approximately 2 trillion lira.
