On Borsa Istanbul (BIST), the BIST 100 index saw a weekly low of 12,817.01 and a high of 14,355.46 points, closing the week down 8.18%; the dollar rose 0.36% to 48.7810 lira, while the euro fell 0.91%.
The closing was 8.18 percent below the previous week. While investment funds lost 2.57 percent and pension funds 1.74 percent, money market funds were the best-performing category with a 0.65 percent gain. In gold, the gram fell to 6,826 lira and the quarter gold to 11,174 lira.
