Istanbul's 33rd High Criminal Court accepted and merged with the main case a 195-page supplementary indictment against 29 people, including jailed İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, in the Ağaç ve Peyzaj AŞ investigation; the number of defendants rose to 435 and the number of alleged acts to 155.
The indictment alleges that in the plant material tenders between 2020 and 2024, specifications were prepared to limit competition, the works were fragmented and given to certain companies, and bribes of 7-10 percent of the work price were received from these companies. The court decided to continue the detention of six detained defendants.
