At the 57th ECMA Congress held in Rome on September 16-18, Alican Duran, Chairman of the Board of KASAD, was elected president of the European Carton Makers Association, which represents more than 650 carton packaging producers across Europe.
The congress theme was determined as 'Folding Cartons: Empowering the Packaging of the Future'. Duran said they will focus on sustainability and recycling during his term.
