T&O Denizcilik, along with the crew of the Turkish-flagged ship Reyhan Sarı, which was attacked in the Black Sea on July 22, and the family of a crew member who died, filed a complaint with the International Criminal Court; the complaint claims Ukraine deliberately targeted the ship.
The application alleges that Ukraine deliberately targeted the ship's accommodation quarters and used banned munitions. The vessel, with a capacity of 36,075 dwt, was attacked while loading coal from Taman Port. Savaş Çakar, 54, who was working in the engine room, lost his life.
