Chief of the General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu held bilateral meetings with SACEUR, the US Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the chiefs of general staff of nine countries, including Greece, at the NATO Military Committee Chiefs of Defence Meeting held in Denmark; bilateral relations and regional security were discussed.
The summit addressed the global and regional security architecture. Bayraktaroğlu discussed enhancing the alliance's defense capacity with SACEUR and the US Vice Chief of Staff. During bilateral contacts with European counterparts, strengthening military cooperation was on the table.
