The Families in Pursuit of Justice Platform held a vigil for the 10th day outside the Justice Ministry to protest shortcomings in lawsuits concerning buildings destroyed in the February 6, 2023 earthquakes. The platform seeks to meet with Justice Minister Akın Gürlek.
Adıyaman representative Celal Gezer said that indictments have not yet been prepared in many files, and that fugitive suspects must be captured and permission must be given for investigations into public officials. The families chanted slogans stating that there is a debt of justice for 53 thousand lives.
