Minister Gürlek says three old death files solved

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that three death files, 19, 15 and 11 years old, in Aksaray, Gaziantep and Manisa have been solved. Three suspects were arrested in the investigations, and 10 suspects were detained in the operation in Gaziantep.

Judicial action against 76 suspects in fund probe

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that judicial action was taken against 76 suspects in the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office fund investigation. Of the suspects, 45 were arrested, 5 were placed under judicial control, arrest procedures were launched for 12, and procedures for 14 in custody are ongoing.

Operations in 16 provinces in Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu investigation, 33 detained

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek said a second wave of operations was carried out in the investigation into the helicopter crash in which Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu lost his life. Searches and seizures were conducted at 45 addresses across 16 provinces centred on Ankara; proceedings were initiated against 47 suspects and 33 people were detained.

Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office detained five people in an espionage investigation into MASAK's EMİS system for political or military espionage. Justice Minister Akın Gürlek said findings indicated that FETÖ/PDY-linked individuals and companies were influential in the infrastructure between 2012 and 2018.

11 suspects in traffic accident data probe at courthouse

The 11 suspects detained in the investigation into the seizure of personal data of traffic accident victims were referred to the courthouse. The investigation found that powers of attorney were obtained from 253,000 people and 15.6 billion lira in illicit gains were made.

Montage photo suspect arrested on influence peddling charges
