Seven detained in referee probe including Turkish referee chief Gündoğdu

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced an operation against Turkish Central Referee Committee Chairman Ferhat Gündoğdu and its members over alleged interference in refereeing processes. Seven people were detained in the operation.

In the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous operations were carried out at addresses in Istanbul, Ankara, Elazığ and Manisa. Those detained include Active Referees Association President Ferdi Karadoruk.
