Social media personality Dilan Polat, detained on a charge of "insulting the president," was released with an overseas travel ban and a requirement to sign in once a week.
The Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office opened an investigation into Polat over a video she shared on social media. After giving her statement to prosecutors, Polat was referred to the on-duty criminal judgeship with a request for judicial supervision.
