The Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) has opened its 28th Term 5th Legislative Year. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is addressing the General Assembly at the opening session.
In his speech, Erdoğan touched on parliament's history and offered wishes for the new legislative year. The General Assembly is expected to start legislative work on 6 October, first discussing the Turkish Red Crescent Bill. Turkish parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş is planned to host a reception in the evening.
