Latest in the series Second LPG price hike of 4.63 lira to push litre over 40 lira
A presidential decree published in the Official Gazette ended the sliding-scale tax system. In the first stage, prices are expected to rise by about 4.15 lira for gasoline and about 1.48 lira for LPG.
The excise increase on petrol will apply in monthly instalments rather than all at once. The change is expected to raise LPG pump prices by about 1.48 lira.
