  1. Second LPG price hike of 4.63 lira to push litre over 40 lira

    The litre price of LPG will rise by 4.63 lira effective 2 October, exceeding 40 lira. That will be the second price hike for LPG in 24 hours.

  2. Sliding-scale fuel tax ends, phased tax rise to apply to gasoline

    A presidential decree published in the Official Gazette ended the sliding-scale tax system. In the first stage, prices are expected to rise by about 4.15 lira for gasoline and about 1.48 lira for LPG.

  1. Fuel price hike expected at midnight; petrol to rise by 12.48 lira

    With the fuel price equalization scheme ending at midnight, petrol is expected to rise by 12.48 lira, diesel by 3.60 lira and LPG by 1.48 lira. The litre price of petrol is calculated to exceed 90 lira.

    The fuel equalisation system applied to petrol will be lifted on 1 October. Calculations including SCT and VAT indicate the rise to be reflected in a litre of petrol may reach 12.48 lira.
