Mehmet Yiğiner, who ran on a single list at the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK) General Assembly, was elected chair with 560 votes. Bendevi Palandöken did not field a list.
At the general assembly, the board and audit reports were not approved by majority vote. Palandöken left the hall without voting, saying he did not find the election conditions fair and equal. Yiğiner said he would serve equally those who voted for him and those who did not.
