Four defendants released in IBB case

In the case that includes Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu among the defendants, the court ruled to release four defendants. The number of detained defendants fell to 53, and the hearing will continue on Monday.

At the hearing at Istanbul 33rd High Criminal Court, the cross-examination of former Kültür AŞ General Manager Murat Abbas was completed. Six detained defendants requested release. Before the ruling, the prosecutor had requested continued detention for 57 defendants.
