At the 89th hearing of the İBB trial, unarrested defendant Güngör Gürman, who benefited from effective remorse, presented his defence. Gürman said, "I made no statement to the effect that unlawful acts were being committed."

Unarrested defendants Remzi Baka and Kerem Dal also presented their defence at the hearing. Asked by Murat Ongun, Dal said the four acts for which he is being tried were not put to him in his statement on 25 September. Advertiser Özcan Demirci denied the charges and asked for acquittal.
