Latest in the series Erdin Ozel and Emir Munir Sarpyener arrested in fund probe

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek said Istanbul prosecutors ordered the search, seizure and detention of 34 suspects in the fund investigation. Proceedings cover 217 suspects in total, with 56 arrested and 88 under judicial control.

The review also covers 26 stocks whose transactions are under scrutiny. About 3.1 billion lira was found to have left the accounts of İsmet Öğüt, detained today, between 1 July and 16 September.
