Prime Minister Ünal Üstel announced that legal, residency, and health regulations have come into effect for those affected by the passenger ship that sank off Girne on August 30. The Bar Association will provide legal support, and judicial expenses will be eliminated.
Üstel said survivors will not be forced to return home because their residence permits expire, and they can pursue their cases personally in the KKTC. He stressed the state will also stand by them for health needs.
