Yeni Parti MP Sezgin Tanrıkulu stated that the value of the 131 fund companies placed under surveillance was 297 billion lira (TL) in November 2025 and 822 billion TL in September, saying political responsibility lies with the government. Fatih Erbakan claimed that the events unfolded "right before the State's eyes."
Tanrıkulu argued that the value of 131 fund companies increased by 525 billion lira in 10 months and that losses were turned a blind eye during this process. Erbakan, on the other hand, described what happened as "under the eyes and knowledge of the State" and called for elections to re-establish justice in the economy.
