1. 22 Sept 2026 Tablet piece found in Hattuşa turned out to belong to the Kadesh Peace Treaty It was determined that the cuneiform tablet piece found in Hattuşa, the Hittite capital in Çorum, belongs to one of the copies of the Kadesh Peace Treaty. Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced the discovery.

Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced on World Peace Day that the fragment contains provisions regarding those seeking refuge from one country to another.
