In an operation conducted at 13 addresses in 8 provinces under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 9 suspects were detained on the allegation that marriages were directed according to organizational criteria.
The operation was conducted simultaneously in Istanbul, Ankara, Kocaeli, Karabük, and other provinces. It is alleged that the suspects collected candidates' age, education, and occupation details, along with photos, and matched them on digital platforms. Examinations of digital materials from a suspect detained in May surfaced 13 individuals.
