As part of investigations by the Istanbul and Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, access was blocked to numerous X accounts identified as having made speculative posts that could cause panic among investors.
According to EngelliWeb's findings, the total follower count of the blocked accounts is approximately 12 million. The list includes accounts of economist Uğur Gürses, academic Veysel Ulusoy, finance professor Bilge Yılmaz, journalists Naz Yavuzarslan and Dinçer Gökçe, and actor Orhan Aydın.
