Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu targeted Türkiye and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the UN General Assembly. Communications Director Burhanettin Duran said these remarks were incompatible with the ideals of the UN.

Duran stated that Netanyahu's remarks could not conceal the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, as Netanyahu has an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court.
