Netflix Global Affairs President Clete Williems said at the 19th Türkiye Investment Conference in New York that the company had clarified its 10 billion lira investment plan for Türkiye. The location and scope of the investment have not been announced yet.
The plan was shared after a meeting where Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek and Central Bank Governor Fatih Karahan made presentations. According to Ekonomim columnist Vahap Munyar, a TAİK board member calculated the amount at just over 200 million dollars and said the investment could be for a film studio around Istanbul.
