Justice Minister Akın Gürlek said a second wave of operations was carried out in the investigation into the helicopter crash in which Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu lost his life. Searches and seizures were conducted at 45 addresses across 16 provinces centred on Ankara; proceedings were initiated against 47 suspects and 33 people were detained.
Gürlek said the suspects were deemed to have participated in premeditated murder under FETÖ/PDY activities, that 10 people were in prison and 4 people were being sought. The work continues under the coordination of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, with the support of the intelligence agency MİT and the Ankara Provincial Police Department.
