Latest in the series Capital Markets Board says cancelled fund orders will be paid

Melis Sandal received a foreign travel ban and a precautionary measure was placed on her assets as part of the fund investigation. Journalist Yiğit Uzun claimed Sandal withdrew about 11 billion lira (TL) from the liquidated funds.

The investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office covers funds linked to four companies. No official statement has been made public on the alleged withdrawals from the funds.
