In the fund investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an outflow of about 3.1 billion lira was detected from the account of İsmet Öğüt, known as Balıkçı İsmet, between 1 July and 16 September.

The financial review is examining the source and links of the outflows from Öğüt's account. The probe is also looking at the link between these movements and Öğüt's brother, former CHP deputy Ensar Öğüt.
