9 suspects detained in fund investigation

Nine people were detained in the fund investigation conducted in Istanbul. They include Destek Yatırım Bank General Manager Özgür Akayoğlu; one person is being sought.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office said the Capital Markets Board (SPK) had found market fraud in Destek Holding and Özata Denizcilik shares in the inquiry into capital market transactions. Company owners Altunç Kumova and Özdemir Ataseven had been arrested earlier. Twelve people detained earlier were referred to the courthouse.
