President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that he tasked the State Supervisory Council (DDK) over the fund crisis. He said they formed a board led by the Vice President to coordinate the process for funds ordered into liquidation.

Erdoğan said they clarified the next steps at a broadly attended meeting. He also said the problem in the fund market appeared in a limited segment and the financial system was strong.
