President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met in Ankara with the economic team and managers of relevant institutions over developments in the fund investigation. The meeting assessed steps regarding the functioning of capital markets.

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek also attended the meeting, which lasted about three hours. The number of those arrested in the investigation had reached 56. Erdoğan is expected to attend the provincial chairmen meeting at AK Party headquarters after the meeting.
