Journalist Fatih Ergin arrested

Journalist Fatih Ergin was arrested over a social media post as part of the investigation into the death of former intelligence agency MİT officer Kaşif Kozinoğlu.

Ergin had been detained on Sunday. The cited reason was his post about the death of former Forensic Medicine employee Turgay Tamer, who had earlier been detained and released in the inquiry. The court ordered his arrest on charges of publicly spreading misleading information.
