MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli said the Terror-Free Türkiye process has now become the government's state policy, adding, "I am hopeful about the future."
MHP Deputy Chair Feti Yıldız said he hoped the monitoring commission to be set up in parliament for the Terror-free Türkiye process would be formed within a week to 10 days.
In a statement after its meeting, the Turkish National Security Council said steps taken toward a terror-free Türkiye and a terror-free region were assessed and efforts would continue with determination.
The "Terror-free Türkiye" executive board met for a second time at Beştepe under the chairmanship of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. The meeting lasted about 2.5 hours.
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz announced that the second meeting of the National Solidarity and Integration Coordination Board will be held at Beştepe at 09:30 on 28 September. The meeting will be closed to the press.

In a letter signed by YÖK Chairman Erol Özvar and sent to all universities, it was requested that the goal be covered at 2026-2027 academic year opening ceremonies and first classes, and that panels, conferences and workshops be organized.
