Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş met with civil society representatives in Kırşehir and stated that the process dubbed "Terror-free Türkiye" has progressed successfully so far. According to both reports' headlines, a monitoring commission will be established for the process.
Kurtulmuş recalled that the legal framework of the process was adopted on August 10 with 467 deputies' votes. He said the law has three safety valves and would go into effect on condition that the organization lays down its weapons and dissolves itself. He also announced that a commission would be established to monitor the process.
