The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced it had blocked access to 419 accounts and one link.
Among the blocked accounts are journalist Şirin Payzın, TİP member İrfan Değirmenci, soL Haber, women's organisations and LGBTI+ activists. According to BBC Türkçe, 13 people were arrested in Ankara, including journalist Tuğba Tekerek and seven Kaos GL executives. Human rights groups, however, report 62 arrests and more than 100 detentions.

On September 14, an operation led from Istanbul across 20 provinces targeted 12 separate "new generation" organized crime groups, detaining 178 suspects; searches turned up weapons, ammunition and narcotics. Of 42 people detained in a Muğla-based operation, 20 were referred to the courthouse.
