Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi, speaking at a meeting attended by the governors of all 81 provinces and foundation officials, said, "We are obliged to identify our citizens' needs in time and to meet those needs at the right time and place," and asked that foundation performance scorecards be monitored.
The meeting at GAMER was attended via video conference by the governors of all 81 provinces and directors of the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations. Çiftçi recalled that during his tenure as governor of Erzurum, 7-8 foundations entered the top 10 through the report cards they implemented, and said they would reward successful foundations. The meeting discussed steps to increase the efficiency of social assistance.
