The Ministry of Family and Social Services is the ministry responsible for social services and family affairs in the Republic of Türkiye. It was established in 2011 under the name Ministry of Family and Social Policies, merged with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security in 2018, and took its current name in 2021.

In Zonguldak, a father and mother accused of beating their 17-year-old daughter and chaining her to a bed were arrested. Gendarmerie found the girl handcuffed and chained, while bruises were detected on four siblings, who were placed under state protection.
