According to TİM data, Türkiye's exports increased by 4% in January-August to reach 185 billion dollars. Exports to the US rose by 12.9% to reach 9 billion 636.7 million dollars; Germany ranked first with 13 billion 576 million dollars.
In exports to the US, chemicals and electrical-electronics sectors stood out, while steel exports increased by 404.6 percent annually in August. In chemicals, the increase reached 1 billion 43.4 million dollars with 33.7 percent, and in electrical and electronics, 841.2 million dollars with 41.8 percent.
