Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır has said Türkiye is the 11th largest defence industry exporter and will enter the top 10 next year. He noted that exports have exceeded $280 billion.
Kacır, accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in New York, spoke at a gathering of the Anatolian Lions Businessmen's Association. He said exports of medium-high and high technology products had risen to $116 billion and that there are 115 technoparks.
